  1. There shouldn't be a problem with html.  I wonder what email server you're using?  Yes, you can go to the group and post on the left hand side, but I'm more interested in the error message, I'm assuming you received because of the html and why you can't just email to post to the group.  What happens?  My email is ronalddebbie@aol.com if you want to tell me more details

HTML is the programming language used to write web pages.  Some e-mail programs automatically encode outgoing messages with HTML to make them look nicer to other programs that have HTML capacity.  Unfortunately, this makes the e-mail message look wierd to those without HTML capacity.  If Freecycle has a policy of not accepting HTML-encoded messages, then you're going to have to find a way to send them a plain-text message (i.e. without HTML).  Perhaps the best way to do this is to log in to http://groups.yahoo.com/ , then go to your Freecycle Group, then click on Post on the left-hand side of the resulting page.  There you can enter a message to the Group, and it will not be encoded with HTML.
