Cant hear people on mobile?

Question

hey, i have an O2 XDA, and when i try and call someone - they cant hear me (i can hear them)

its only happened in the last 2 days and it was working perfectly before

has anyone got any fixes or advice?

have you dropped it in water or just dropped it ?

mines does this ;P i have a nokia n95 & i dropped it in water then when i called people, they couldnt hear me but when i put in like a handsfree kit they could hear me then ? might work for you :D no harm in trying eh

can't hear people on mobile? some thing like this happens when the network is having problem,you might be hearing them, but they wont hear you. and another thing is,when the speaker of your phone is fauity or dusty, can cause something like what you just said, that happening to you when ever you are making calls.

lastly, make sure you check your phone properly before you make any call. you should try to blow air into the speaker of your phone,so that all the dust that is hading will come out of the speaker.

i have the same phone i think you might have something wrong with your mic you might just hve to send it to  htc or where ever you got yours from if u have a warrenty or just but an earpiece. Good luCC
