Can't hook up playstation 2 to my Toshiba HDTV

Question

I thought I had connected the Playstation to the TV correctly, but I keep getting the message on the screen that the video input is unavailable. I've tried changing gthe channel to 2, 3 or 4, but the message remains the same. The kids are naturally wanting to play right away.
