Can't load up Ebay homepage

Question

I am unable to load Ebay, I have been trying for about 3-4 days now. All other internet pages are and have been working fine. The Ebay homepage tries to load but the pictures don't load fully then the egg timer freezes and it says not responding, I have done a search and it seems that many others are experiencing a similar problem but as all other pages work with absolutely no problem i think the fault is at Ebay's end. I have deleted temporary files and cookies etc as suggested by others but it made no difference.

Please help.
