Cant open video files??

Hi

I own a sony ericcsson k510i phone. I cant open the videos i saved in the computer from the phone. Why is that? Do i need to change the program, if so to what?? Pls help?

Also cant open videos from the digital camera.... I saved all in computer but cant open......They opened on the first day ......But now it says cant play???

Your problly didnt save them right. Plug your Phone and Digital Camera back in to your Computer a Redo it, make sure you save it all to somewhere.

A good place is to save them onto your desktop then make a folder for them.

most of the videos captured by the cell phones are in the .3gp format... or in .rm format.

you need codecs installed in your computer to play these files..

you can either download the 3gp player or the Real media player to play them

using the quick time player is one more option.

or simply you can download the FFD SHOW codec pack to your system install it and restart your system.. then these files should play.. ;-)

Look for a program that can support the video files from your phone. Your multimedia player might be requiring a codec which is not installed thats why it can't play your videos..

I suggest using klite it supports multiple codecs, not just videos.
