Can't play AUX inputs through Panasonic surround...

Question

I have a Panasonic SC-NC6EB-K hooked up to my Samsung HD LCD TV via a HDMI cable. I have an AUX cable going from the AUX OUT of the TV, to the AUX IN on the surround sound unit. This has been working for the past few months, but all of a sudden it stopped and I can't find why. I thought it might have something to do with the Option "HDMI Sound Out" option setting, but i've tried changing it with no result. Playing DVD's DOES however play the sound porperly.
