Cant read facebook.

Question

my facebook page and profile page are unreadable as the writing comes up part of the word and the rest as an empty square: ie t( )( )( ).=tony. i am using internet explorer 7 .this problem started when i logged into facebook and was told to upgrade from 6 to internet 7. this i have done but my facebook is still the same. cheers yours tony.
