Cant retrieve the songs I purchased on Itunes???

so i had a problem with itunes before when it suddenly shut down while i was downloading songs i purchased on Itunes, about $20 worth. so i had to uninstall and reinstall itunes. itunes worked fine after i reinstalled it only all the purchased songs that were downloading at the time when my itunes messed up, doesnt show up in my library or ipod. all the songs i had purchased are in my account history only i cant seem to retrieve them. have i been screwed by itunes. what do i do???

You can contact iTunes support and tell them what happened, This happened to me and they gave me all my songs back. But be aware that the songs will only be available for download once so try backing them up just in case
