Cant rip CD onto Itunes

Question

ok i just got done ripping a david banner Cd onto itunes and i put in kid rock CD and nothing comes up. and u can hear the cd spino in the drive but it stops and go's and stops and go's. and then it just stoped. Nothing pops up its like there is no Cd in the drive. how can i get itunes to rip it from here

Well, the CD is most likely scratched. Before doing anything else, try playing it in a CD player, or Windows Media Player. If it doesn't work in both, it is broken. If it only works in the CD player, that means that your computer "CD-ROM" disc drive is faulty. Good luck!
