Cant stay connected with yahoo

Question

Whenever im logged into yahoo messenger, i get booted. Most of the time i think im still online becuase my messenger stays up... but i can not recieve messages or send them. PLEASE HELP ASAP.... I have a husband in iraq and this is our communication tool. i hate spending 90% of the conversation logging out and then logging bac in.... just to do it agian 5 minutes later
