Can't transfer video from cam to pc

Hello there, i just bought JVC digital camcorder model GR-D370AS.
Everything is fine, but i can't transfer captured video into my PC. Why?
I have tried using the USB cable provided, but i can't transfer the video.
please help me.

SasiI bought a usb cord to transfer the video but it still won't transfer. Do I need a particular program?
