Can't use p2p programs with my 6211-I2

I'm actually using a Zhone 6211-I2, provided by my ISP as a DSL modem. The problem is that since I've done so none of my p2p programs are working.I did the whole port forwarding thing (including setting up a static IP) and it hasn't worked.My operating system is Windows XP and my ISP is TSTT in Trinidad and Tobago.
