  1. this is something you need to be talking to your mom about

  2. tampons aren't that bad you cant feel them at all, except while they're going in. take a deep breath and use one, use a hand mirror if your not sure, sit on the toilet, spread your legs, find the second hole and place the tampon at a 45 degree angle towards your lower back, it will feel a little weird at first but it will go in with ease. then once your fingers are touching skin, use your index finger to push the bottom up, the tampon is inside you now and there's nothing to worry about, they're very handy :) i'm 13. i've only had my period for 2 months now. this is my second one and i use them all the time. just dont leave it in for more than 8 hours. and take your time, there's no need to rush it. :)

i dont think there is any way around it so you really have no choice.

good luck, lemme know how everything goes :)

  3. just suck it up & use a tampon.

i couldn't use one for 3 years & it's not even that bad.

    you just have to relaxxxxx.

  4. Don't freak out on us

Take a deep breath and read carefully the instructions on the pamphlet relax if you must practice a couple of times then do so but you know it has been properly placed if you can't feel it. remember it kinda has to lean towards the back at an angle ( /) so it can be inserted properly. It really is no big deal maybe you will feel uncomfortable inserting something but then you'll realize what you have truly been missing without having to feel all yucky like we sometimes feel during that time of the month and now if you are on a team you need to use them anyways

    Good luck :)

  5. I say you relax and just use the tampon.

It's so easy to insert, and once you have it up there you won't even feel it.

Trust me, you'll use the tampon and wonder how you've lived without it.

And really there is nothing else you can do but skip out of practice.

Just try the tampons, they're not bad.

  6. Use the smallest tampon you can get away with and remember that being in water slows and even stops your period from flowing.  Playtex Slimfits are small and easy to insert; if you still have a hard time inserting it, you can lubricate the applicator with some vaseline or K-Y Jelly to help it slide in easier.  Also remember that most cases of toxic shock syndrome are associated with super and super plus tampons that have been left in for over 8 hours; junior and regular tampons changed every 4-6 hours are extremely safe!  :)

  7. My first couple times using a tampon it was kind of uncomfortable, you get used to it. It's really GREAT, too. They're much more convenient than pads.

  8. talk to the person thats making yo do this and that will understan

or try to put in a tampon!

srry those are the only opptions or get your mom to talk to him or her!!

    good luck

  9. Tampons are really a life saver and WAYYY less stressful than they seem to be.  Use smaller ones at first (the slender or juniors) plastic applicators are super duper...very easy to slide in.  It will feel uncomfortable to put it in the first time, considering you've never put something in there (unless you....).  You shouldn't feel it when its in...it may hurt a little to take it out, but you'll get used to it.  It will be harder to take out when its not full.  Don't keep it in over 8 hours.  Practice!  It gets easier everytime!  If you don't get it, bring in a sick note or something.

    Hope I helped!

    Good luck!

  10. You are going to have to use a tampon, there is no way around it. tampons are actually really easy, just stay relaxed and follow the instructions on the box. You can go to the school nurse and ask for a pass, but you can't avoid water for week a month until your 50 =)

  11. I was just like you! You need to get O.B. tampons.

They don't have the plastic on them. They are just

soft and you push them in yourself. You can get the

light or slender.  They are really wonderful. Be sure

if you wear the light to always wear a liner too. They

also have regular and super. I have never used super.

With OB tampons its no biggie. Good Luck :)

  12. USE TAMPONS! its the only way.

  13. Well your period does stop when you're in the water.  There really isn't anything to be scared about tampons.  They'll come in handy, I had to use one for the first time at horse back riding camp and my period then was horrible I had to wear two over-night pads at a time.  When horseback riding you can't really wear a pad.  Its not bad, you just have to make sure you relax.
