Question:

Canteen Condiments?

Our canteen at work charges for those little sachets of ketchup and vinegar and even little packets of butter on top of the price of your meal. Does anyone else think this is rediculous? I know its not a big end-of-the-world sort of thing, but I think charging from 6p to 12p for these things is crazy when most cafes give them away free of charge.

What do you think?

  1. What you should do is go to Morrison's or Tesco cafe and fill your pockets with their FREE sachets(be careful at Morrisons coz they have bottles of vinegar and pots of salt and pepper,I get the sugar and milk from there) Tesco do all the sachets, fill your pockets, socks, bag with them, then when you are in the staff canteen you cant sit there all smug with your sachets laid out on the table in front of you!!

  2. I would be resentful and not return. Average the cost out amongst customer tickets and seem generous

  3. Oh man...You are being ripped off....Where i work we have a canteen, all condiments, butter, etc are free.

  4. I realize it's a pain to have to pay for these, but I suppose some ruined it for others by taking them and not using them. Basically throwing them away...so here we go...
