  1. lots of people commute from Canterbury to London (costs a lot of money for the train ticket though) ... personally I wouldn't do it but loads do, including my own daughter who moved out to Faversham (she chose Faversham because there's more trains from there, both the trains that end up in Canterbury and the ones that end up in Margate) ... there are some American tourists go there but not in vast numbers ... Canterbury is a beautiful city with lots of olde-worlde charm but all the modern amenities


  2. There are a few tourists, although most tend to visit London, Salisbury, Bath, York etc.

    Canterbury is a longish commute, but plenty of people travel that far every day to London.  Just a drag if the train system has a problem - makes a long day...

  3. Its a long commute but it can be done. There are only tourists there in the summer and not that many as to cause a problem
