Sony KP-51HW40 51" Wide screen HDTV blinks 6 times. How do i fix? Please help.

That's a HIGH VOLTAGE failure....

You don't want to work on that section kimosabe..it's a good way to get HURT.!.

common problem with the sony kp series.  the obvious first place to look is the CRT socket, which could have a problem with misconnection or just a bad soldering job.  in order to fix this you are going to need to see someone who knows what they are doing....and can solder.  you could also call up sony and ask what they recommend doing.
