Following their second successive loss in 2012/13 La Liga season, the former Spanish national team manager claimed his charges will bounce back from their recent run of inconsistent displays.
Granada registered an impressive away victory over Mallorca on the road to register their second successive La Liga victory. El Grana imposed second successive defeat on Joaquin Caparros’ charges, who were bundled out in front of home fans at the Iberostar
Stadium.
Joaquin Caparros was understandably displeased with the defeat in front of home fans, claiming that his side will come back fighting after their second successive loss. Defeat for the Majorca based outfit puts them out of La Liga top-4 for the first time
in the 2012/13 Spanish top flight football season.
The 56-year-old manager admitted that Mallorca have a tough series of fixtures, but believes his charges will prove their mettle to the fans.
“The next month is going to be tough,” he told a press conference. “But I am sure that we will come out and show people what we are made of.”
Analyzing the details of the domestic meeting, Caparros claimed that Mallorca’s intensity dropped in the second half which made their rivals more confident in their counter-attacks. He added that the week has been tough on Los Bermellones but they have to
remain optimistic for the future.
“In the second half we did not play with enough intensity, and were always susceptible to counter-attacks.”
“It's been a really bad week, but we have to be optimistic.”
On the other hand, Granada boss, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Juan-Antonio-c19650 Anquela, was full of praise for his after their victory over Real Mallorca. He revealed that El Grana worked hard to prepare for La Liga match-up and got a much deserved win on the road.
Anquela was also full of praise for Joaquin Caparros’ Mallorca who have been flying high in the current Spanish top flight football campaign.
“We knew we were coming to a hard place, against a proper team,” he told a press conference. “We worked really hard, and got an elaborate victory in the end.
“The team has worked very well, and beaten a good side. We just have to keep on growing.”
