Cape Cobras resumed their innings on Friday from 132 for nil with AG Puttick on 60 and AJA Gray on 68, and took the score to 169 before this partnership was broken by Wiese, who clean-bowled Gray after the batsman reached 84 runs.
The second-wicket partnership between AG Puttick and S van Zyl was also ruthless towards the fielding contingent, as the batsmen continued the onslaught, hammering away the bowlers without remorse.
The batting duo led the side towards 289, before the opener became the second wicket of the day, edging a delivery after hammering a profound knock of 126 runs.
MY Vallie was disappointing as he left his side on 291, failing to open his account off two deliveries.

Things just did not seem heading in Titans’ direction as even after getting four wickets they found themselves caught in a Mexican standoff with Cape Cobras’ MQ Adams and skipper DJ Vilas.
The two batsmen forged another intimidating resistance against the bowlers, as they kept the scoreboard ticking by reaching the boundaries and testing the fielders.
With 402 on the board, the batting side then lost Adams, who crumbled after bolstering an innings of 66 runs.
Vilas, was then the next to go as he was dismissed by von Berg after jabbing a patient knock of 36 runs. By this time, Cape Cobras had managed to post 423 runs.
Finally with M Kemp on 37, the side declared their innings with a massive score of 476 on the board.
