Cape Cod seagulls?

Question

Hi! We live in Cape Cod - see LOTS of seagulls all over the beach. I was wondering WHERE on the Cape the birds nest - I read that they tend to nest in colonies, away from humans, etc etc... I don't want to find the nests or colonies, but I'm just wondering WHERE the do it, because most of the beaches aren't that large... do they perhaps nest at the larger beaches, back in the sand dunes? THANKS! :-)

I found a link that claims they nest in the marsh or on the beach far away from humans (could explain why we never see the nests!) It's pretty interesting reading tho
