Capel baby Shoes in lead of the lineup for the Crayford Bookmakers Marathon at Crayford
The Crayford Bookmakers Marathon is to be held on Saturday, 3rd March at Crayford over 874 metres. The race offers the prize money worth £175 to the winner of the race who needs to go through the wire before any of the other hounds on the track.
The lineup ready to take charge of the 874 metres track today include Buglys Spirit, Capel Baby Shoes, Amanda And Sal, Crossfield Luca, Slanemore Daisy and Ardmayle Zorro.
Capel Baby Shoes, Droopys Kewell’s four-year-old black daughter out of b***h Fabulous Sophie has made two starts during the season already, winning one and settling second in the next.
On 21st January, Capel Baby Shoes won a 483 metres race at Doncaster by clocking through the track distance in 30.78 seconds and leading by just half a length. Leaping for the wire right after the winner was Killishin Sasha who was successful
in getting hold of the second position in the race.
Then on 11th February, Capel Baby Shoes fell victim to the lethal speed of Skywalker Jack who covered the 661 metres track distance in 42.72 seconds while leading by a staggering seven lengths.
Finishing closest to the winner as the runner up was Capel Baby Shoes.
Today she will make her third start of the season and if she will be able to get the second victory of the season under her belt or not will get unfold soon.
Amanda And Sal, Ace Hi Rumble’s three-year-old blue daughter out of b***h Arch Enemy has won two out of the four starts that she made during the season.
Amanda And Sal was the 7/4 favourite for the 714 metres race at Crayford on 7th January which she won by clocking the distance in 45.98 seconds while in lead of an amazing eleven lengths. The second spot was taken by General Warhorse while finishing
third behind the winner was Crossfield Gia.
Her next victory was on 18th February in the Crayford Stadium Welcomes The Champagne Club Stakes at Crayford. She was on the other side of the wire in 57.88 seconds and was the undisputed 5/4 favourite of the race. Buglys Spirit was second while
Kereight Hollie finished third.
