Don Fabio Capello is Steve McClaren in disguise. McClown has mastered Italian already.

Guess things never change and one of them is the England captaincy. Have to bear with a crybaby leading the team.

I agree sir dave! I was surprised to see it happen! JT Has had his chance and blew it so why give him another! Madness! Oh and this is the first of a long line of mistakes to come imho!

Rio or even Steve Gerrard would have been better choices!

I thought it should have been Gerrard.

He does far more to motivate and lift team spirit at Liverpool (and lets be frank they need it) and drives the team on to get results, they sometimes shouldn't, than Terry or Rio do for there clubs.

Rio and Terry clearly don't have too as much, because they play in better teams. It may even raise his actual performance in an England jersey as well.

Personally I agree on JT being Captain. I asked a Q about this yesterday and ManU fans think Rio should be it and Chelsea think JT should be it whilst others are divided.

At least it's not F****n Gerrard!

To me, it seems like alot of fuss over nothing. Hardly anything will change and it's still up to the players playing as a team regardless of who has the armband. Waste of media coverage on this one in my opinion.
