Stanislav Cherchesov is expecting players to return from injury ahead of their upcoming Russian Premier League match against Dynamo Moscow at Arena Khimki
Terek Grozny head coach, Stanislav Cherchesov, has hailed Russian national team new manager, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fabio-c13152 Capello, saying that the Italian tactician will help the Euro 2008 semi-finalists regain their foothold in big tournaments.
Capello, who resigned from the English national team’s manager post, replaced d**k Advocaat, who joined http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/PSV-c40281 Eindhoven after failing to help Russia at Euro 2012 in Poland and Ukraine, last month.
Though Russia had a flying start to the tournament after defeating Czech Republic 4-1 on the road, Advocaat’s men failed to reach the later stages of the European tournament as they failed to win their last group stage match against
Greece.
Though Capello failed to get a winning start with his new team as Russia claimed a 1-1 draw in an International friendly match against Cote d’Ivoire at Lokomotiv stadium, Cherchesov remained optimistic over the bright future of
the team, saying that the Italian national needs a little more time to get acquainted with the squad.
“It's hard to talk about any innovations because Capello has only started to work. He will overcome the negative feeling that has been created about the team after the European Championship.”
“They faced a decent opponent yesterday. Capello will take time to get acquainted with the players who are in the team, and with the newcomers, whom he may have already identified.” The UEFA Champions League winner was quoted
as saying.
Russia will now train under the former AC Milan manager, hoping that they can qualify for a place at the World Cup.
Commenting on the Chechens progress in the Russian Premier League, Cherchesov admitted that they know that a lot of hard work is needed to be done before they can see significant improvements.
Cherchesov revealed that the Nohchi are expecting http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Maciej-Rybus-c23019 to play the upcoming game against Dynamo Moscow after returning from their respective injuries.
The 48-year-old, meanwhile, told that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Oleg-Ivanov-c28390 will not take a part in the upcoming game as the Russian midfielder has been suspended for three games.
