Italo Galbiati has expressed his anger on the Manchester City striker’s profane comments about the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 coach, and believes the aggressor is being unthankful to his old master.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wayne-Rooney-c36736’s recent statement about the Italian tactician, and believes that there is little that the striker can contribute to the game of football.
The Manchester United striker recently stated that Roy Hodgson is a much better manager than the former Three Lions manager, as the instructions are no longer lost in translation.
Italo Galbiati spoke to Italian Radio IES in order to vent his anger on the disrespectful comments of the star attacker.
Capello’s former assistant stressed that Rooney’s statement proves that he is a thankless child, and stressed that during his tenure with the English team the former English manager had no problems getting his message across to the players, and was a much respected figure.
The former AC Milan manager was adamant that football is a game with a universal language and understanding, and insisted that there is little that the criticising Macnchester United man can teach about football.
While talking to the press, the 74-year-old said:
“Rooney is ungrateful. Capello made himself understood and ensured he was respected. Besides, football has only one language and he cannot teach us anything."
Galbiati then turned his attention to the upcoming quarter-final clash between http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 and England, and claimed the Azzurri to be the favourites to go through to the semi-finals of Euro 2012.
The former assistant coach hailed the Three Lions’ prowess in the counter attack and also praised their fitness, but maintained that he expects the Italians to triumph over the English with a one-goal lead.
The ex-AC Milan chief was also asked about http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Steven-Gerrard-c34196, where he admitted the Liverpool-man as his idol.

"England are physically strong and good on the counter-attack, but Italy will win 1-0. I would always choose De Rossi ahead of Gerrard.”
