Cappaneale Blue in form for the Grade A2 500 metres flat race at Nottingham
The most celebrated entry for the Grade A2 500 metres flat race is the two-year-old blue b***h, Cappaneale Blue. The race will be held at Nottingham on Monday, 6th August. The others contesting for the race include Salacres Cool, Fabulous Val, Gorgeous Amigo, Rushmoor Tony and Emporio Eclipse.
Killahan Phanter’s daughter has raced at Nottingham throughout the career which now comprises of two seasons. There has been a variance in distance only twice, 305 metres, once during training and at another occasion while racing.
The performance in the three outings of the new season was consistent but then fell down to a fifth position. She faced extreme fluctuations as she won the race and then even got driven down to the fifth position.
The next three races of the two-year-old were failures and then on 10th March, 2012, she won the Grade A4 500 metres flat at Nottingham over 500 metres. Setting into an early pace after breaking from the fifth stall, got the favourite entry leading soon and winning the race in 30.94 seconds by 1 ½ lengths.
Hill Storm finished the closest after racing for 31.06 seconds.
The blue b***h out of, Cherryhill Biddy, then won the Grade A3 www.betfred.com Stakes on 2nd April, 2012 at Nottingham over 500 metres. Breaking into an early pace and then not waiting for long to lead had the race concluded in 31.08 seconds.
The runner-up, Ballinrahin Boy, missed the race by a length.
The M. Copper trained once again lost the winning composure and missed the next four races.
On 3rd July, 2012 she bagged the Grade A3 500 metres flat race at Nottingham by reaching the other end of the wire in 31.01 seconds. She won by the margin of 2 ¼ lengths.
The most recent victory of the blue b***h was in the Grade A2 500 metres flat at Nottingham on 28th July, 2012. She clocked the track distance in 30.67 seconds and defeated the runner-up, Fast Impact, by a short head’s difference.
Familiar venue and distance have got her the 9 to 4 backing for the race tonight.
