  1. A cappuccino is made with shots of espresso, and a steaming method called, "free-pour" where the milk is steamed perfectly with a half and half proportion of steamed milk and thick milk foam.  Therefore there is no such thing as an "ice cappuccino."

A latte is made with shots of espresso and steamed milk with a dollop of foam on top.  A syrup of your choice can also be added.  A latte can also be iced minus the hot milk foam which can be substituted with whipped cream.

A frappuccino is NOT made with espresso contrary to popular belief.  A Starbucks frappuccino is made with a pre-mixed coffee or creme base, a syrup of your choice, and ice.  Therefore, you can never order a hot frappuccino.

These are the basic recipes so from there you could create 55000 possible drink combinations!

A good way to recognize the sizes is this, tall rhymes with small, grande is medium, and twenty rhymes with venti which coincidentally is how many ounces it contains.

  2. Cappuchino is hot.

    a Frappuccino is cold.

    sizes:: Tall. Grande. Venti.

    tall is intalian for short.

    Grade is a medium.

    Venti is Large.

I might have the Grande and Venti mixxed up.?.

  3. cap- espresso and steamed milk foam

    latte- espresso and steamed milk

    frap- blended ice beverage

mocha- espresso,  steamed milk,  and chocolate

macchiato-  espresso shots with a little foam on top

white mocha- espresso,  steamed milk,  white chocolate.

    tall-12oz

    grande-16oz

venti-20oz (or 24oz for iced venti)

  4. Cappuccino is espresso with a lot of steamed milk foam on top, often sprinkled with cinnamon.  If you like it sweet, you would need to add sugar.

Latte is espresso with a lot of milk added, and a little steamed milk foam on top.  Again, sugar needed if you like it sweet.

Frappuccino is espresso blended with ice, milk, and some kind of flavour like chocolate, caramel, or something like that.  No sugar needed, it's sweet on its own...and delicious!
