Capricorn/Cancer similarities?

I'm obsessed with astrology I know...but I don't base it on everything

are capricorns like cancers when it comes to relationships? As in are they also really hard to get to know, and to trust? I used to be in love with this Capricorn guy (I'm an Aries) and I know he liked me the first half of the year, until I told him I liked his friend (I was bad and played a game, learned my lesson) and we didn't talk. But then I guess he forgave me so we were kind of friends, and he hung out with me but then when I admitted I liked him (later over Facebook ...in a message.) he never wrote back, and then tried denying he led me on, even later (flashforward 6 months after that)

So do they just not like being rushed into things or what? What's their behavior like pre-courting?

  1. Cancer guys like women who will be faithful to them, too...as for hard to get to know...i'll admit, I don't open up like I should.

My ex-wife is an Aries...that may explain part of it.  Cancer and Aries are polar opposites

  2. as a capri, i believe loyalty is very important.

  3. I'm Cancer, married to a Capricorn.  Yes, we are very similar in that it takes a while before we can trust.  We're not so guarded however, that it is impossible to connect to another person if that's what we want to do.  When a Capricorn is getting to know you, he's pretty persistent.  He studies and examines you, and weighs the personal risk of getting involved with you. My guess is that when you told him you were interested in his friend, he realized you were not all about getting to know him and that pretty much turned him off.  You apologized, which was good, but Capricorn doesn't play games and therefore any trust that had been established got broken. Capricorn does not play the fool twice.  When he's really interested in you, he gives you the full court press and can not put his feelings aside.  It sounds like you blew it.
