What are Capricorns like with respect to love and intimacy? I'm a Capricorn myself so don't be too harsh! ;) x

I'm a Capricorn, too. Sometimes it takes me awhile to become comfortable with others and warm up to them. But once I am comfortable with the person, I become attached and can't get enough!

Like a previous poster said, I am not huge on lovey pet names- and don't often use them myself. Really mushy-gushy stuff is a bit much for me. I do like romantic gestures, but not ones that go overboard.

I am shy when it comes to love. But, my partners will know I am sincere by my subtle or (sometimes) concrete gestures (helping them out with a big project, offering advice, listening to them, being reliable, etc.)

It would help me to understand your point of view if you could explain to me why the position of the stars and planets at the moment of your birth could possibly affect your love and intimacy, that's why it's a nonsense question.

My boyfriend of 3 years is a capricorn.Love-He's very loving,caring,sharing.But he has that dark side where he likes control,and he dominates this relationship.I hate that(aquarius).Respect-not always  but he has it.Doesn't even take me serious,like I'm no body.He could ask me a question,i give him a answer, then he goes to ask someone else and take there advice before mine.Intimacy-Great.But it doesn't define our relationship,could we live without it? Your Sun IS important when looking at love and intimacy, but your Venus and Mars also play a part in how you act and what you find attractive.

A Capricorn Sun will sometimes be shy, but a Capricorn Sun with a Scorpio Mars may actually "hunt" the object of his/her desire, waiting for the right time to pounce..lol..in a good way. They tend to be more likely to take the lead in the intimate department.

A Pisces Mar will be shy and not let someone know they like them at all..it may take a really perceptive person to notice. And that person will usually be more persuaded than persuasive.

These are just two examples, but you really do need to take the Venus (attraction) and Mars (s*x drive, out going energy) into account.

They all like to tag on Sun Sign astrology because they can't wrap their brains around the concepts of a full natal chart, and are too lazy to learn. They prefer to lob tomatoes from the outside ranks.

I think there's a little to this astrology stuff - not as much as some would make out mind.

But then I'm a capricorn.

I take a long time to believe in stuff. Then theres sort of this period where I believe it but can just drop it (ever cautious lol). Finally once its long proven - I (sometimes dumbly) will fail to easily accept anything against it.

In that respect Im stubborn.

And someone above said that once a cap is won over - even if the wheels come off they still try and make it go ... yea, yea I'd say that.

I can also be very studious of things, I'll gather knowledge, comes in handy for the bedroom. Though my ambitions, my questing as someone called it is always apart of me. Thats an aspect of the same thing in this paragraph. Although with that theres this aspect that some initially (my definition of initial is longer than some peoples, an aspect of the caution) can take me as someone that is trying to be right, I often say it more as long practice at trying to be wrong and having explored so thoroughly that its now difficult to argue to me. So I can be  a bugger in arguements too. And I have tendancy to think Im probably right. Not right, but probably.

Intimacy can be very much into that. Can also be sort of reserved at the same time. Depends on my mood, and where I am with the other person. Too early and I wont say I love (that won't stop me teasing you to h**l and back with the possibility that might if I felt it going that way), later in things I have no care for the thoughts of others on public displays of intimacy (no, intimacy, not very dodgy, well never mind).

Love its self ... where still waters run, they run deep.

Lets just say that some of my best poetry has been through looking at the world, through that emotion. And that most oft, I didn't share it.

Edit - another detail I didn't mention, I tend to find I get a lot of faith put in me. Sometimes too much for personal liking. Or maybe I unknowingly demand it. Maybe its that steady as a rock and earthy thing.
