Captain Bertie expected to win Royal Hunt Cup
Captain Bertie is tipped to prevail in the Royal Hunt Cup (Heritage Handicap) at Ascot in England on Wednesday, June 20, 2012. A cash prize of £77,813 will be awarded to the winner of the class-2 event.
The track conditions will be good in the 1 mile race, which will start at 16:25 GMT, and a total of 30 runners have been attracted towards it.

There are some very good participants lined up for action in the race, thus the competition will be a tough one. However, the conditions might suit Captain Bertie more than anyone else today, thus the punters will be interested in placing a lot of bets on
him.
The four-year-old gelding has participated in a dozen events, winning a couple of them. He has secured the runner up and third place on the same number of times, which shows that he has the ability to fight at the front with consistency.
Importantly, the Charles Hills’ trainee is carrying very good momentum right now, as he managed to win his most recent race. He was not given the best odd back then, but stunned one and all with his skills. His fans will be hoping for a similar show yet
again.
The favourite runner will be partnered by William Carson, who is quite an experienced rider, but does not have an impressive strike rate at all. He will need to bring a lot more consistency in his performances in order to attract more bets from the punters.
