Captain Charisma loses his third place in the WWE's Power 25 list - WWE Rankings
The former World Heavyweight Champion, Christian dropped down his position from third to seventh spot in the current week’s rankings updated by The Academy of Wrestling Arts and Sciences on August 20.
Captain Charisma did not attend the weekly segments last week but he appeared during WWE’s pay-per-view event, SummerSlam 2011 on August 14 at Los Angeles. Captain Charisma was announced to defend his World Heavyweight Champion against the Number one contender,
Randy Orton in a championship match named “No Holds Barred Match”. As Christian had won the World Championship from The Viper by disqualification clause after hiding behind the lawyers at Money in the Bank so he was very much disliked by the WWE Universe.
The Rated-R Superstar and the former World Champion, Edge also appeared in the SummerSlam to join his lifelong friend Christian. Edge did the same what the WWE Universe demanded. Edge criticised Captain Charisma about the way he got the World Championship
belt by hiding behind lawyers and begging for the title shots. Edge left Christian’s corner and let him fight by his own way. After the brutal fight for World title, The Viper took the tremendous victory over Christian and became the new World Champion once
again. Christian attended only one event last week and he lost as well.
Furthermore, Christian did not appear during Friday Night SmackDown segment on August 19. The Viper stated that he was beaten so brutally by him that he could not attend the SmackDown segment. The Academy of Wrestling Arts and Science dropped Christian from
third to seventh place keeping in mind the loss in the main event and the invisibility during Friday Night SmackDown segment.
Last week, Christian was dropped from first to third place in the Power 25 list of WWE. The fall in first place occur due to his match against Sheamus. Captain Charisma knocked himself out from fighting against The Celtic Warrior, Sheamus. Moreover, Christian
tried to threaten The COO, Triple H about legal action against “No Holds Barred Match”.
