Captain Kumble or Captain Jayawardene: Why do you think your captain will lead the Idea Test series 2008?

Alright, my captain must prove & show is established captincy to lead SL for an Test series win however, in cricket anything can happen but, Captain Jayawardene to me must be the heart & captain for SL batting order.

You can see the past, the Indian had always played the 1st match of the Test Series away from the home were worst.... The reasons were they dont know how to adopt themselfes to the playing conditions....

After that they will come back strongly in the next matches and put pressure in the hosts.....

VB series in Australia earlier this year.....

Tour of England last year.....

He is a hard man,never give up....

He just lifted his team from the Sydney controversies and won that historic Perth Test.After that Australians struggled a lot on that series...

And now after that humiliating lose to the SL,He won the last match in Galle...

Now the pressure is surely in the Srilankans.....

Because the Indian are motivated and gaining confident....

But SriLanka combine better as a team.

M.Jayawardhane thinks better as a captain.

But all these things vanish once the coin is tossed up,since various factors come into play.(luck,mistakes,rain etc..)

Ultimately the team that plays better on those five or less days comes victorious.

hi i am gokul. I think the best is Kumble because we also have a good batting order see in the last test only Sehwag performed well, if we have three good partnerships, we have attack  Mendis so that the pressure will be on him and while bowling if we have some early breakthroughs we will win this series easily. And most importantly i am waiting for Sachin to break the record in this test by scoring a double ton.

It is unfortunate that the toss has decided both the matches hope the curators are asked to make a lively result oriented track which can last for five days of even cricket but if the conditions remain the same than the toss is certainly going to decide the winner.

batting first you make merry and batting second you dig your grave.

The captain who leads the team to victory should keep his hands crossed and counting on his stars to win the toss.
