Ganguly made 16 runs off only 24 balls and was heavily criticized for his poor strike-rate. The former Indian captain has scored some runs for his team in the event but his ability to keep up with the pace of the run-rate has been a real question mark.   
The Pune skipper expressed that the pitch was too slow and the bounce was not even as well. However, the left handed batsman admitted that his team should have chased down the mediocre total and he himself failed to deliver the goods when his team needed
him the most on a difficult track.
"It was not an easy wicket, the ball did not come on to the bat. But we should have got to 120. We lost a few wickets early. When I got out was the turning point of the game,” said Ganguly.  
Harbhajan, on the other hand, was all praise for the performance of his bowlers.
“The pitch was slow, low and it was difficult to play your strokes. We did not expect the pitch to play this way, bowlers would love to bowl here," he said.
Sri Lankan ace, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/SL-Malinga-c2540 was named as the Player of the Match for his all-round performance. The fast bowler is happy with his performance against Pune and said that he is successful because of the hard-work that he puts in during practice. He picked
up a couple of cheap wickets and scored 14 important runs in a low-scoring encounter.
"I am used to pressure, whatever I do during the training session, I try to apply it on the field. I know my field and I bowl accordingly," Malinga expressed.
