i find myself so captivated in interesting conversation, i love just talking to people and learning a little bit about who they are underneath all the things they want people to think they are. Am i wierd for being so intriugued by others life experinces and in general there thoughs, opinions, and ideas about everything.

i don't mean that in like a creepy way i just really love hearing peoples story and listening to what others sayy, is this like normal?

  1. I think your curiosity about others is a very positve trait. Most writers and psychologists share the same interest in others.

It is a refreshing characteristic compared to people who are so egocentric that they rarely think of anyone but themselves. I'd bet most people find you interesting and easy to talk with since you are genuinely interested in them, as well.

  2. no it's not normal. and the word is "their".

  3. Hi,

No, you are not weird at all!

One of my favorite topics of conversation with people that are couples is to ask how they met....  and how they fell for each other.... So intriguing and interesting. OK and romantic.

AND they enjoy talking about it too! They just get this sparkle in their eyes!

I like feeling that I reminded them of it.......

  4. i dont think its weird. its a good thing actually. it means you're social, and just have a way with people. (in truth, im not considered "social" i wish! i'm really bad at talking to people) well, then again, how do u define "normal" ? normal as in something everyone does everyday a lot, something that everyone does or is good at, or what? i think everyone is "weird" in their own way. i mean, it's not like we're exact copies of each other, so people think you're weird if you do something they don't do, or don't do something they do. so really, it depends on how you look at things. (sorry if it's too long!)

  5. You are a philosopher, perhaps even a truthseeker.

It's not something I would call weird.   But it's not common either.

I would guess you share this trait with about 2 people in 100.

By 'trait' I mean the absolute fascination with "What's under the hood"    The percentage of people who feel this way about psychology would be smaller.

So OK you might be a bit weird. ;-)

  6. No, this is not weird. I am the same way about others and myself. You learn more in life through other's perspectives and who they are. It adds depth and meaning to your life as well.
