Capturing a video while playing it on the computer?

our variety show is coming. since the audience at the back could not clearly see the performers on the stage, we planned to use our LCD projector for a video streaming that would be played.. well i dont exactly know how to explain it but like for any other concerts, when they can play live the things going on the stage on a big screen. please help me..

You would just need a video camera to record the live show - and you would have cable that connects the camcorder's AV out to the LCD projector's AV in.
