Capturing images from windows media player?

Is there any way i can capture images from windows media player? The video files that i have are .avi files.

  1. Best way to do this is pause the player on the image you want, hit the "Print Scrn" button (located in the upper right area of your keyboard), and then open an image editor (paintshop pro, photoshop, something like that) and select the "Paste" function.  this will copy the entire screen you just saved into the program, at which point you can crop/trim the image to include just the part you want.  I don't think Media Player has any built-in screenshotting capability.  Give this a shot, though.  Print Screen + Image editing program + Paste.

    run your .avi files on windows movie maker and take pictures.
