Ok, here's my situation. My husband is driving about 30 mi/hr, when a lady slows down for traffic ahead. We see her stop, we begin to stop a few car lengths back but we realize (in slow motion) that our car is hydroplaning and isn't gonna stop! (it was raining all weekend)
My husband hits her in the rear. (YIKES) She has hardly any visible damage and our car curls up in the front like a pretzel!
Everyone was wearing there seatbelts, no injuries, and not sitations were issued, once the police arrived.
Questions:
What does this mean for our Premium?
Will my husband be listed as a risk as far as insurance is concerned?
Since we are on the same policy, will this effect me too?
(We have full coverage since we own a home and are still paying a car note)
I've never had a claim before in all my 15 years of driving. I have a perfect record, never had a speeding ticket, so on etc.
My husband on the other hand, not so perfect! He has points.
