Car Accident and was driving without insurance...advice plz?

I had an accident 2 days ago and that time my insurance was expired and i called my agent to renew my insurance after my accident and he said no he can't do that. i'm so scared that i have to pay for both cars to get it fix and i don't have that much money. i don't know what to do.plz advice

  3. Since you had no insurance at the time of the accident, and it was your fault, you have no choice but to pay out of pocket to fix the car you hit.  You don't have to fix your own car if you don't want to, but if you do, that comes out of your pocket also.

    In the mean time, if you still don't have insurance, don't drive.

  4. Im assuming it was your fault. I dont mean to make you day worse but that probably will happen. There is a possibility you can get sued or have to pay hospital bills.

  5. Sorry, but you may have to go to court.  

    Don't hire a private lawyer because you have to pay a lot for him/her even if he/she loses in your case.

    If you don't have money, the court will assign a public defender for you and it's free of charge.

    I don't want to make any comments here because I know that you've already learnt a big lesson.

    Driving a vehicle that is not insured for you to drive is considered ilegal. You should not have told the broker about the accident until it was renewed.

    If the insurer refuses to renew, Then re-apply for an insurance policy with another company. But, do not mention the accident to them.

    You should wait until the other persons request any payments or actions, this will buy you time. You need not make any moves until the other people do

  7. Not much to say.  You are going to have to pay to fix both cars, and any injuries.  They'll eventually take you to court and garnish your wages.

    What to do?  Go buy a new policy RIGHT NOW.  Or turn in your plates and stop driving uninsured.
