Question:

Car Adapter For my Sansa MP3 Clip?

Does anyone know what I can use as an adapter? I tried the tape player kind and unfortunately my tape player doesn't work, why I don't know my car is New. So then I tried the kind you plug into your cigg lighter and change the station to a static station, but when a song plays that doesn't have a loud beginning I can hear the static in the back ground, is there anything else I can get? If so where?

  1. You can get a wired FM transmitter. As you already know, the wireless kind doesn't do the trick because of the FCC restricting the length of broadcast. The wired FM transmitter is going to give you a direct antenna connection. Just run over to a local shop to have it done. it wont cost too much money, maybe $75, but it gets rid of 90% of the static and all of my customers are always satisfied. this is very common and you should have no problems. Good luck

  3. I have an aftermarket cd player in my car. My cd player has an auxilary plug in the front..it looks like a head phone jack. if you have one of these on your cd player...just go to target and get a aux to aux plug (it's like $4). Just plug one end of it into the cd player and the other into the mp3 player and change the band (FM/AM/CD/ect.) over to AUX and viola! You can play your mp3 player thru your car stereo with no hissing or static. (I use this for my Zune) The only catch is that you can only control what songs are playing thru the mp3 player. the cd player only controls the volume. If you do not have an aux plug on the front you may have one on the back of the unit. But if you don't know how to remove it properly and look for it...I would not recommend doing that. Good luck!
