Car Aduio? How to install a powered subwoofer?

Hey there, im buying this powered sub from walmart (i know, but all i can afford) and i need help connecting it. its a used car so the wires are already there. I need to know which wires are the remote, ground, and battery wire (in tthe pic) and also what to connect to the high input part of the powered sub.

  1. Typically, yellow will be your 12 volt constant wire, and the red wire will be an accessory wire or in your case the remote turn on wire. Black will be the ground wire. However, I'm not the one who did the installation, so I cannot be completely positive. The easiest way to find out is to use a multimeter. If the yellow wire shows 12 volts when the vehicle is off then you know it is a 12 volt constant wire. It doesn't look like you have the proper gauge wire though. It's possible that the picture is deceiving. If not you'll want to get an amp install kit. The link to the sub didn't work, so I can't suggest a particular kit. Sorry if this doesn't help, but with the information provided, I did the best that I could.
