Car Alarm - Remote broke?

If I were to buy a replacement, which I have to, how do I get the code to program another remote to my car? I bought this car with the alarm already installed and I'm oblivious as to how to do this.

its way easier to go where you bought the car or go to a garage that fixes cars. Myave they can install it for you. I went to the local ford dealer and they put in a new one for me.

Contact the manufacture of the alarm. This happened to my dad and they gave us all the steps over the phone. You can most likely get the number with an on-line search. They might even have download instructions.

It will depend on the year, make and model because many of the newer ones will need to be programmed with the use of a vehicle computer scanner........
