Car DVD Player Screen-I'm Stumped!?

I have the Jensen Overhead system and all of the sudden, the screen is playing the DVDs, but with a line through the middle, and the picture seems to be split, like the bottom of the picture plays at the top and the top portion plays at the bottom of the screen. I'm a military wife and my husband is deployed, I need help! My kids cant live without this thing!

Sounds like something to do with the screen, I wouldn't mess with it unless you know what you are doing.  Take it into the shop and see if they can tell you what is wrong with it.  

And yes, your kids CAN live without it.  It's a CAR DVD player, not a lifeline.

go to someone whos good with working with electronics.

Try to blow into where the DVD goes in, maybe there is some dust in there.  If that doesn't work. try a lens cleaner.

Go back to the dealer and see if the DVD is under warranty,  most electronics have a seperate warranty than the car.
