Car Hire at Mumbai Airport?

Are there any private car hire companies operating at Mumbai airport?

(I am aware that there is a taxi service outside.)

yes there are, and there are some in the city that can meet you there. where are you going? if you're staying in the city, the taxi is fine. if you're going further than that, a car is expensive.

There are, where are you going? Many cities have their own private companies doing airport drop-off/pick up.
