  1. I hope my answer is able to save some labor for you to solve your question.here has useful tips.http://car-insurance.online-tips.info/ca...

  2. I've saved some money, by switching. But be careful that your coverage isn't any less. Check this site out http://www.ez-insurancesearch.com they have some good info and will give you quotes from top providers in your area. See if this quote will lower any of your payments.

  3. I switched and ended up saving. I moved about 6 monts ago a new state, and in doing so found that my premium was going to increase significantly and even reducing my limits and increasing my deductible didn't put me back where I was before. Fortunately, I had a renters policy with another insurer and I asked them quote my auto - I received a discount for having two vehicles and another for having a renters policy with them. It ended up saving me $200, and they were able to increase my coverage limits for all of my policies. I also had a few other agents from other companies quote the policies, and only the one that had my renters initially was a better deal. My first renewal on the auto since moving just came up and I'm going to save an additional $50 due to additional discounts.

I wouldn't buy into the hype from a company that claims it will save you money. If they claim they will save you money, make them prove it by showing you the quote, and check to see that it matches or improves upon the coverages you have. Definitely, have at least a few companies quote your policy or use an internet quoting engine to view multiple companies, but make sure they match your current terms and limits exactly. You would be surprised that some items that are included on your current policy will cost extra with another company, and you won't have that coverage in the event you did have to file a claim.

If you really want to save money, placing several of your policies (homeowners or renters, auto, life, etc) with the same company will earn you additional discounts on each one. Also, to save on just your auto - evaluate how much of a deductible you can afford to pay in the event of an accident, increasing the deductible amount will save you money on the policy and evaluate how much coverage you need on your car - if it's older evaluate if you need the max limits - likely the car will have depreciated and you can lower the limits. Try checking at least once a year with other companies to ensure you are getting a good deal - if you find a better one see if your current company will match it or be prepared to change. Again just make sure you're still getting the same coverages - check the policy limits, deductibles, exclusions and ask about any riders that can be added to the policy before committing to it. Before switching be sure to check the financial ratings of the company you are considering with Standard & Poor's and/or AM Best to be sure that they are stable - the ratings are a good indicator of the likelihood they will pay if you have a claim. Sometimes you can find a good rate with an obscure insurance company through sites like insurance.com and reviewing the rating is a way to make sure you're placing with a financially secure company.

  4. I've lost customers before because they were promised a better rate only to end up being charged more.

One of the main reasons this happens is because the agent or company that quoted them didn't include things like accidents, speeding tickets, previous claims, etc. when quoting them.

If you desire to change companies and find a better rate I would suggest using a reliable free online quoting service.  When using these services make sure that you include on the on-line quote request any accidents, violations.  Also have handy the VIN numbers for each car that you wish to insure.

I would suggest checking out http://www.InsuranceEasy.org this is one of the better insurance consumer sites that I have come across on the internet.

Again when filling out the requests make sure that you provide accurate information to receive an accurate quote.

Good luck. I hope this helps bring your rate back down.

  5. Yes, and it works fine.

http://carquotes.sinfree.net - I personally switched their car insurance from Geico and saved about 20$ per month.

  6. I got talked into switching and i did they said its cheaper bologna i pay more now than i did before i switched .

  7. at renewal time I spend a week or two getting quotes and checking the market and more often than not I end up switching and yeah, I switch because by doing so I save money.
