Car Insurance/Reg. in Ca.?

Question

Im planning on taking off my insurance for my car. Will this affect my Registration? Im not planning on driving it anytime soon, im selling it to my sister in Sept. She lives in a different city.

yes it will affect your registration because the registration will be suspended. You can either leave liability insurance on the vehicle or register it as non op. I would suggest that you keep the insurance on the vehicle just in case you do drive it because if you register it as non op you will not be able to drive it at all.
