Question:

Car Insurance-Surrendered license?

by  |  earlier

I just got a letter in the mail from auto insurance company saying that my driver's license status is currently surrendered. Does this mean I don't have a valid driver's license? And if so, what could be the possible reasons? I haven't had any tickets or been in trouble of any kind. I am going to contact my DMV on Monday but any heads up would be appreciated. If this information is correct, shouldn't the DMV sent me a letter notifying me as well? I'm so confused, please help!

  1. I would contact the DMV as well get proof that your license is fine you might be able to talk your insurance agency into a discount for the inconvenience

  2. YOu are not the only one,I have ever met the similiar problem before.I have good experience here though.http://carinsurance.expertsupport.info/a...

  3. For auto insurance the obvious way to get a low rate is do a policy comparison on car policies. Make certain that you pick similar options with the same deductibles, car make, location, etc so that all things are an accurate comparison.

What I usually recommend is an online comparison quote at http://www.InsureAutoNow.info since they have lots of insurers and can give multiple prices on auto insurance polices.

  4. Contact the insurance company not the DMV and ask them on what basis do they think your license is suspended.  You MAY be able to check online and you may need to send them a copy of your license.  They've screwed up (and they'll call it a computer glitch!!).
