Question:

Car Insurance and MOT?

by  |  earlier

0 LIKES UnLike

Both my car insurance and MOT are due at the end of July (one day apart). I would prefer to have these spread across the year a bit more - is there any way I can do this?

My car tax was also originally due at the end of July but I once paid for 6 months so it would change to January.

It's not that I can't afford to pay them both together as I have for the last few years, it would just be nicer if I didn't have such a big hit to my finances all at once. Any advice?

  1. why not buy a six month Tax disc for one of the cars this year - then they will be six months apart when they need renewing.

As "Bored"says - Monthy insurance payments is a good lan too

  2. YOU CAN MOT YOUR CAR UP TO A MONTH BEFORE ITS DUE SO DO THAT EACH YEAR

  3. For car insurance the most efficient way to get a very good rate is do a policy comparison on car policies. Make sure that you compare similar options with the same deductibles, car make, zip code, etc so that all options are a good comparison.

What I most often recommend is an online comparison quote at http://www.InsureAutoNow.info since they have lots of insurers and can give multiple quotes on auto insurance polices.

  4. You can pay your insurance monthly or you can get your MOT done a month early not much else

  5. You can get 10 month car insurance policys from admiral.

Or cancel half  way through but that wouldn't be worth it really x

  6. The answers vary by person. It would be a good idea to hear several of them and see the differences. Here is a good one.http://carinsurance.expertsupport.info/a...

  7. If you don't mind wasting a bit of money then you can have your car MOT'd six months early.
