Car Insurance for someone who has made a claim and has 3 points on thier licence?

I am looking for car insurance for my mum - she is 49 years old. She has 3 points on her licence (from going through an amber/red light 2 years ago and she recently made a claim after scraping the car on a gate.

She drives a renault 1.6 with an 05 numberplate and has held her licence for around 20 years.

Any advice would be gratefully received. I can't find any reasonable quotes!

Thanks.

  1. Use the search engine like google or yahoo to brainstorm some ideas first if you want to obtain the massive information,if you do not want to spend too much time, here is a good resource for your reference about your questions.http://carinsurance.expertsupport.info/a...

  2. Try the following sites

    confused.com

    gocompare.com

    moneysupermarket.com

These three sites cover a wide range of British insurers so you should get a best price from one of them.

  3. A lot of these answers are correct. You will just need to do more research. There are thousands of insurance companies offering quotes. If you look hard enough one of them will eventually find you a great rate. Ask your mom to consider taking a driving course to lower rates. She should try to get tickets off here driving record next time. The red light ticket could have been easily removed from her record by talking with a judge. Look at http://www.nationwidebillrelief.com/avoi... to find ways to keep points from getting on your driving record.

  4. Go to www.comparethemarket.com

its good, they will give you the answer you are asking.

Just put a few details in the system (the ones you listed above) and it will give you plenty of genuine quotes.

  5. For auto insurance the obvious way to get a very good rate is do a policy comparison on car policies. Make certain that you pick similar policies with the same limits, car model, location, etc so that all things are an accurate comparison.

What I most often recommend is an online comparison quote at http://www.lowratetoday.com since they have lots of insurers and will give several quotes on auto insurance polices.

  6. You can try this company - http://autoinsurance.hotusa.org - I personally have their car insurance.

As I know their policy for points and bad driving records is not such expensive as from other companies.

  7. tescocompare.com

  8. points only stop on for three years so wont be to bad try insure your motor.com there not to bad mine hardly change when i made a claim
