I have an 07 focus and i've posted on here numerous problems it had (questions about them) and have had several issues with it. Turns out the newest is a bad transmission @ 8,000 miles. Is there a possibility that the manufactuer will buy-back the car if the cost to replace the trans is high?

  2. When did you buy the car? Did you buy it new or used? How many miles are on the car? The 2007 Ford Focus has a 5 year, 60k mile power-train warranty, which may cover your bad transmission.

Lemon Laws have specific guidelines and simply because there are numerous repairs needed on a vehicle does not qualify it as a "lemon". Very few people understand how the lemon laws work, however if your car is out of the factory warranty and you have owned it for more than 6 months, it will not be covered under any lemon law regardless of the state where you reside. Good luck and I hope this helps to clarify.

  3. If you want to try to get Ford to buy the car back then you need to start the proceedings by speaking with the Service Manager at the dealership that is handling your cars repairs.

  4. Have you contacted the dealership who sold it to you? There are lemon laws to protect consumers, get a little feisty with the dealership if you have to. That's how I got things done with my vehicle.
