Car Mp3 player Q?

I got a CD/Radio/MP3 player for my car, it says that you can connect an Ipod or mp3 player with a USB cable to listen to the music on it, but when i plugged in my ipod nano it said its not compatible with it.

what sort of mp3 player might work with it??

I have the same thing in my car. It's a black USB cable that connects to a little input under the radio. Although, my ipod nano works great with it. Are you sure you got the right USB cable because if it says it works for MP3 players, it should definetly work with an ipod.

It should specify in the manual what players it will work with. Contrary to what the previous answer said, I have seen car stereos that will only work with certain players and only particular models/versions of iPods. Of course, they don't list those limitations in the "BUY ME!!!!" bullet points on the box.
