Car Radio Troubles?

My problem is that when I turn the key to my car backwards so the radio just turns on... it works. But then when I start my car it doesn't work. I have reconnected the wires 5 times and checked all speaker wires. Please help me!

You need to focus on red battery wire from the stereo not any other wires. Turn on the key forward, grab the power meter and look for factory wire thats power meter reading approx 12volt. Turn off the key, the wire you just tested is measured 0volt. then use that wire to hook up red battery wire from the stereo.
