Car Sound System Advice?

I want to get an amplifier with 1 or 2 subwoofers. I got 4 pioneer speakers 220 watt 3-way speakers already. I still have my factory radio and I'm planing to get a line output converter (I only got $300 to work with). I am confused about one thing... If I get the amp and subwoofer what do I do about my speakers, I feel like my audio will be disorganized (speakers being hooked up to my radio using its amp). Is there a way I can hook up the speakers to the amp, but still keep my radio? What should I do?

  1. with a 300 budget your better off leaving the stock speakers run off the stock unit. Id save up and do it right. Unless your just lookin for a lil bass then get a amp and sub.  Dont forget amp kit and loc into the cost. Kicker comp on sale 2 for 99

  2. you just leave the inside speakers hooked up to the radio using its internal amplifier- if you put them on their own amp they would not get any louder but the sound quality you get from them will be much higher (the radios internal amp is not strong enough to play them at higher volumes without being distorted)

you could get a two or four channel amp to hook up your subs and inside speakers to the same amp- but for best results i would recommend you getting a mono (one channel) amp for the subs and a separate amp for the inside speakers at a later date (and it would sound better, the amps would also run cooler)
